Komen granted $629,159 to Planned Parenthood last year. This equates to 0.0006% of their overall billion-dollar income.
They are freaking out and asking for “emergency donations” from their supporters, not because they’re in a financial crisis, but because they want to throw Komen under the bus and make an example of them to other organizations considering severing ties with Planned Parenthood.
